I'm trying to decide between the blue Megan Satchel or the Navy Middy Satchel.. I would love anyone's thoughts regarding the two styles of the bags!

I love the look of the Megan. So classy and the gold hardware just pops against this blue. The middy is a bit small for me and I also prefer gold hardware over silver...it doesn't have the same "wow" factor for me. That said, I once ordered the Megan in black and the leather was so soft and smooth, seemed very delicate. When it arrived it already had several creases/wrinkles that I didn't think I could live with so I returned it. The saffiano Middy is VERY durable.

Thanks for the advice! The Megan does look more "wow" but it's probably better to buy an expensive bag that I know will stay in style..I think I'll get it next week at bloomingdales f&f!

There are many questions you need to ask yourself:

1. Are you looking for a slouchy bag or a structured bag?
2. How much will you need to hold in the bag (the middy obviously being smaller)
3. They are clearly very different, do you prefer gold or silvertone hardware??

I love the middy but it just doesn't seem to "look" big enough which is why I went with the small dome and I'm not disappointed. I have two and counting. good luck and let us know what you choose. I too have had my eye on the middy as I want a blue and she just isn't making more of them in other styles.

I like the Mgan. I have a Rob Double Zip and don't use it often because it is one of the heaviest bags I own. I usually carry a laptop and work files so when the bag is filled it is too heavy to carry. If you are worried about wear and tear then you can't really go wrong with the Rob leather. My bag has been used and abused and aside from scratched hardware it still looks good.
