Since the Griet is in route...look it over...see if it makes your heart sing.. if not return it...However, from reading your listing it seems that you have your heart set on the Trevi...Should that be the case..Don't settle....get the bag you really want....and... FYI... when I was searching for my daughters bag for Christmas...I too was told that the Trevi was completely sold out....however, my fabulous LV SAs who I have been buying from found the Trevi with time to spare....I hope you love whichever bag you choose...
If you are not happy with the Griet you can return it.. or you can keep it and then sell it, obtaining founds to get another bag you love more.

I was on the wait list for Trevi PM a while ago, and my SA called me about a month ago and told me that was 1 came in and asked me if I wanted it. I just gave birth to a newborn then, and couldn't make the trip out to see the bag. So I pass thinking it will be available on the shelves when I can go out to shop again. Sigh...
You'll know as soon as you try it on. I bought the Trevi without ever seeing it in person. I did try on the gm and it looked silly on me. But I loved the style and when a SA located one for me from Vegas I didn't hesitate. If this doesn't do it for you just hold out for the Trevi. I waited a long time to get mine and it does make receiving it all the better. Good luck.

I agree with everyone, try it out and see if you like it, then decide.. the Griet is such a gorgeous bag!
However, if you only budgeted for one bag, you might want to go with the Trevi, as it's bigger, I am sure the extra room would come in handy for a mama with a newborn

Aww don't feel guilty & give yourself a break, just blame it on your hormones since just giving birth LOL (congrats by the way on your little one being a mommy is one of the greatest gifts you will every receive) Once you see the griet IRL you will know what to do

you raised a good point! I didn't like the Trevi PM at all, untill I saw the pic of "LabelAddicts" modeling hers in "LV in Actions" thread. I fell in love then... lol.
Search for "Cilifene" and her thread about her Trevi PM. She has modeling pictures too. She inspired me so much that I got one earlier this month. I love mine so much and wouldn't trade it for any other bag and also, it looks MUCH better IRL than on pictures.
I agree with what others have said...you should wait until you receive it and then decide. I saw a Damier Griet in a store and it was so beautiful it too my breath away.
It is so tough to decide from the pics. I just ordered a coach bag that is not in stores yet, just the catalogue, and I am having second thoughts. Until I see the bag in person I won't know...ha ha. Enjoy and let us know when you receive it.
