I have been buying and returning bags since late November. I am replacing a much loved but too small Philip Lim Alix bag. If I could get the EXACT bag, (they have very similar bigger bags but I don’t like them), in a bigger size that is what I would do. The closest bag was the Louboutin Paloma Spike leather clutch. That also is just a tad too small but I love how it looks.

I have returned a Givenchy Antigona, the Louboutin clutch and a medium Paloma, a Chanel reissue (used), a medium YSL envelope and lastly a LV Kimono, love how it looks but felt it was too big.

I’m really just venting, I have 3 more bags in my Fashionphile cart that will order tomorrow. I think I’m crazy.

It must be very frustrating but at least you know ultimately what you're looking for.

Do you go and see bags in B&M stores or do you always shop online?

In years gone by I saw and fell in luv with bags online but then the feeling faded once I actually tried it in-store. Even if I really like a bag and it's still 'Yassss' in the store, I may still go home and think about it and then return. I would probably only buy online what I've already 100% checked out IRL.

You shouldn't be too hard on yourself, if the stores you use (like Fashionfile) only exist online then you have no choice but to return. If the first time you try is at home, naturally you're going to be returning most bags.

I really hope one of these next 3 is going to work out for you :drinks:

Share the pic of your Philip Lim Alix bag, In case i find something as per your requirement, will let you know..
That’s very sweet. I ended up buying a red reissue. Should come on the 6th. The condition looks great, but it is off of eBay. It says it’s been authenticated and the seller has 100% positive feedback. I liked the other reissue but it was black, and even though that is my preferred color overall I felt it was boring. I love red also and consider that a neutral.

You are very sweet also. I shop 90% online. I did buy the Louboutin bags in person at Nordstrom. I have to give a shoutout to SSENSE, they took back the YSL bag after a month knowing I used it. I did provide pictures showing it was still in pristine condition. That bag is tough to scratch. I just didn’t like how stiff it was.

Congratulations on your red Reissue! I have both black and red Reissues and they are some of my most frequently carried bags! Please post pics when yours arrives! I hope you enjoy your Reissue.
