Why are prices HIGHER on LV site?

I was flipping through LV.com and Elux and I noticed on a things the prices were higher on the LV wesbite compared to Elux. Also I was on LV France/UK/Japan and they have bags on there that they are not selling to the US... But im more curious as to know why the prices are different on both site........

but...louisvuitton.com and eluxury??? lol i don't know~ i wonder why...
