What are your honest opinion about the maxi? I know the small bag trend is in right now and i love me some minis... But something about the maxi just ignite my love of bigger and practical bags....

I have one - it's dark blue with ruthenium hardware - it's held up well, I don't over use it and I can't imagine life without it lol
I have black with gold hardware. Love it!! Would never part with it!
For some reason I like the look of the Maxi in lambskin rather than the caviar. But anyways, I still like big bags so the Maxi will always still be a classic.
I love my maxi. I bought it years ago and then returned it and it was the one that got away. Bought it again 3 years ago at a much inflated priced but would never let it go now....its not really that big

I don’t have the classic flap in maxi but I own the 2010 zip top Blizzard flap and it is my most used Chanel bag. It’s simply the most useful because I can fit in what I need for work and a bit more.
Mine is open top, which is a little more convenient than a classic flap, i’d also advise against the double flap because that might be very heavy when full.
