It's a new-ish line carried exclusively at Nordie's. I was just meandering through jewelry yesterday and fell in love with this:

But am I reading the description correctly, it's gold plated? And the little white stones are sapphire? (The jewelry SA thought they were diamonds.) For $1295? That seems sort of..... outrageous. Has anyone seen something similar to this at a more reasonable cost? Or better quality materials at a similar cost?

the nordstroms page when I clicked your link said the item was currently unavailable so I couldn't see it. if it is gold plated with white sapphires that is crazy expensive and I wouldn't buy it!

hmmm i'm confused too! I have no idea if it's plated or not.... its a cute design though! I just don't think the white sapphires would sparkle very much. I think it's expensive for the quality imo.

According to the official site page, I think it should be 14k gold, the rhodium plated part is only the black part around the white sapphires, but I could be wrong:balloon:
