hi all,

i really would like some of your opinions on my watch purchase. I am going to buy a new watchand am considering a michael kors chronograph sports watch. I really want something that looks expensive and classy for work and something i will get years of wear out of. But i cant decide between white, gold tone or silver tone styles? What does everyone think?

Thanks x

My only concern for goldtone or silvertone is the possibility of it wearing off and looking very used.
For that reason, I would opt for stainless steel or a real metal like sterling silver or gold.

I wouldn't choose sterling for a watch band unless you really love the metal. The steel band will last much longer and it won't tarnish between the links. "Gold tone" makes me think of plating - which will wear off within a good two years of regular wear. White ceramic links just don't look expensive to me. I also think it's more of a fad item and that a solid metal piece will suit its wearer longer.
