I JUST ordered the Prada white leather crossbody literally 30 minutes ago and now I’m freaking out! Lol

The bag is so beautiful but now I’m scared of color transfer or it getting dirty that I can’t clean it. Just wondering if anyone owns a Prada in white leather and what has your experience been with using/color transfer/cleaning it?
I got it for a good price but I don’t want it to be unusable either :/

Which type of leather? Some leathers are certainly more delicate than others....

Ultimately though, the same advice I'd give with any white bag, you simply need to be cautious and mindful when wearing - try to avoid using when wearing denim or darker colors.

I had a white lambskin Balenciaga city and it was pristine, no color transfer ever. But I also made sure not to wear dark colors when I used that bag. On the flip side, I have pink LV empriente leather bag and wore with a navy dress. Got some color transfer all over the back pocket. Thankfully I noticed the transfer before it become irreparable and wiped down when I got home... Moral of the story, just be mindful and enjoy the bag! I love a crisp, white bag. & post pics when she arrives!

I Believe it's the saffiano leather. I will definitely post pictures once I get it! I've never owned a white or light colored designer bag for this exact reason but I just couldn't help myself this time! I do wear dark leggings/coats on a regular basis. I wonder if white nylon would be an easier upkeep :confused1:
Thank goodness you caught the transfer in time!! Saved your beauty from a handbag spa trip. My fear is I'll be too scared to use it and just let it sit in my closet lookin' pretty

Saffiano is typically pretty good, from my experience.
and like @A bottle of Red stated, a crisp white bag in summer is stunning!
Don't be scared to use it! Again, just be mindful with your outfits.

Wool/nylon coats and leggings should be fine.... I don't have much experience with these fabrics and transfer though, as I live in Florida and I only wear my coats when I take my ski trips (and I typically bring one or two neutral bags with me when I travel, which are not white).
