Hi everyone! I just bought my first white handbag, a white lambskin Lady Dior. I love the look of white but am a little nervous about how long it will last..does white lambskin get dirty very easily/should I exchange for beige ? Is there anything I should be aware of for maintaining its colour, apart from not wearing with jeans ?

Good luck with white, you are brave! Ime color transfer comes from all sorts of items, lke dark dresses and coats, too. I had a coat ruin a white bag. I dont think beige is any better. Both of those colors attract dirt. Does Dior sell a leather protectant or suggest one? I would go with what the company suggests for care. Or visit the Dior threads to see what other owners have used.

If white is 'your' colour, are most of your clothes also whites / pastels? It's not a colour I'd take to heavily polluted areas - e.g. wouldn't take it on a flight or train, but I would take it out for dinner in a nice restaurant.

I feel like white is a no-no for me, as I do like a versatile bag I can take anywhere.
BUT.... if it's not an everyday bag, stick with what you love.

It has the feet to protect it from sitting on a dirty surface, but dirt will still probably be attracted to its base.

I'd think about a bag organiser / base protector to go inside to protect the interior from things you put in it.

Beige would only be a little better, in my experience. Especially the Dior beige, which is quite pale.
