White Gold Guilloche or WG Small Frivole Earrings?

Hi ladies,

I am contemplating my next pair of earrings and I would love to read your opinions. I would like something in white gold so I am considering either the small Frivole or the Guilloche. What do you all think?
I currently have YG MOP vintage size, Onyx vintage, Hammered YG vintage, and mini yellow gold frivole. I wear my jewelry daily with jeans and sneakers. I would also like to wear it to work. I don't really have a "social life" LOL so I want something that elevates the casual look without being too much.

Would you say your style is a bit more feminine or more casual? I love the 3D pattern of the Frivole and in the WG it can be dressed up or down due to its more feminine look. The WG guilloche is also very shiny but I think more casual daily wear kind of look, I don’t really see it being dressy like the YG guilloche.

For a more unique elevated look I personally vote for Frivole but if you prefer to match your Alhambras together the WG guilloche is also a nice casual choice. I’m not sure how long you wear your earrings for throughout the day but the guilloche is more weighty than hammered so it’s just something to keep in mind if you happen to have sensitive lobes like I do.

I’m not usually a feminine look type of gal so I always dismissed the Frivole line as being too girly for me previously, but once I tried it on I fell in love immediately and found it wasn’t too girly to wear with most of my casual outfits. It just adds elegance to the face IMO. Is there a chance you’d be able to try them on at a boutique before purchasing? I think you’ll know which one speaks to you more once you try it on.

I love the mini frivole because it gives that girly touch without looking like a barbie, which is not me. I do wear my earrings for long periods of time and I even forget that I have them on. You raised interesting points. I was considering the WG small frivole because it's larger than the mini and it gives that nice elegant touch. I have the guilloche 5 motif and I think the sparkle is to die for. Needless to say, I don't know what to do ... LOL I will eventually get both but I am debating which one to grab first. I will see my SA tomorrow so I will see if they have any of them in store so I can try. Thank you so much!

They’re both beautiful, but if I can only choose one I’d choose the guilloche. The Alhambra line is my favorite and Frivole is my second favorite. You will eventually get the other pair

I have small lobes and when I tried the mini Frivole I thought it was too small even for me. It’s more like a daily stud and you aren’t able to appreciate the 3D pattern as much due to the size. If you want something more noticeable the small Frivole is a great size IMO, not too big and not too small. The small size definitely gives that elegant touch where the mini is more daily casual. I don’t find the small size overwhelming on the face and despite having sensitive lobes I’m able to wear the small Frivole pave for most of the day. I hope you can try them all on just to see what works for you, keep us updated on what you end up with!

Yeah, I tried the small ones last year and I loved them but I was just starting my journey with VCA and the price tag was not friendly at the time. I guess I became desensitized to it by now. LOL. I will keep you all posted. Thank you again for your input. I truly appreciate it.

Just a quick feedback, I talked to my SA and decided to go with the gold guilloche earrings. This stuff always happens to me LOL ... I start in one direction and suddenly when I thought I was going East, I start moving toward West. It is what is it, I guess. Thank you to this small group of faithful friends who helped me to think it through.
