Whiplash Tatum Tote - seen it in any dept. stores & do you carry it daily?

Have been in love with the Whiplash Tatum Tote ever since I saw promo pics. Seeing the reveals here only made me want it more. Went to my FP store yesterday and saw it in person. I loooove it but not sure I want to pay full price for it. I'm cheap. But in order for them to price match, department stores would have to have it in stock and on sale. So just curious if anyone has seen it anywhere besides the FP stores.

Also, do you all carry totes as everyday bags? I know this sounds dumb, but I'm used to carrying bags with compartments like the Phoebe. As much as I like this style, I'm wondering if it'll really be functional for me.

Bloomingdales is having a 30% off sale 11/21-12/7/2014. Try checking there starting Friday.

BloomingdalesSCP has the pilot version of the bags available in store. I don't think they have the teal color though. Only black, chalk and coral.
