Which Ysl bag do you prefer?!

I'm looking for a bag that I can use both day+night but I'm not sure whether to get the Matt or shiny? What do you guys think?

This reminds me slightly of the turquoise belt choosing scene in Devil Wears Prada. They are ... so different !
I voted matte. But if you prefer shiny don't be too influenced by public opinion.

I went to YSL boutique today with the intent to get the Medium Kate Black Croc Embossed Leather with Silver Tassel in Shiny leather but they only have the Black Silver tassel in Matte leather. I was told that the Black Medium Kate Croc does not come in Silver hardware tassel with shiny leather.
Can someone please confirm this info?
I like the Medium Kate with tassel in Shiny leather but the Gold hardware is just too flashy IMHO.
