Might get a new tiffany ring! I tried on today:

.66 fancy intense VVS1 - $14,000

Another Tiffany has a .72 fancy yellow VVS1 - $13,100

So basically a tad smaller and a tad brighter yellow or a tad bigger and more subtle yellow?

Thanks for ALL opinions! Both are cushion soleste settings.

I'd go for the brighter yellow! I think you'll notice the colour difference more than the small difference in size.

+1. I prefer fancy intense.

Wow - Thanks everyone! It is 3 out of 3 votes for intense. I thought everyone would say bigger center stone and less money. I saw in person the .66 fancy intense right next to a .39 fancy yellow and the color difference was noticeable even to my old eyes!

I just hope that the fancy intense will be available in another month or so. Waiting for my funds to come in from selling stuff! I guess if the .66 one sells that is currently in my local Tiffanys, they can transfer in another one. I'm guessing that there are not tons of yellow diamonds sold each week and I don't know if June is as popular a month to buy diamond engagement rings - as compared to before Christmas or Valentines Day.

Thanks America! I know you are diamond expert here! And your advice has been extremely helpful over the years. In your personal opinion, do you think it is worth the extra $800 or $1000 to get the fancy intense over the fancy yellow if all other specs are the exact same?

Depends how saturated you want the yellow. But I probably would pay that, yes. That's not a big difference to get a slightly more vivid stone.
