1. Diamond Hoops.
Pros: I have long hair and my studs are barely visible. I also just love the way hoops looks
Cons: The pic has smaller stones than I want. If I get them, I'd like at least .12ct for each stone.

2. This ring speaks to my soul. Probably because I'm a horror movie fanatic, with the heart of a 12 year old emo girl.
I'd get it either in Rose gold or Platinum, but probably RG as I think it would show better.
There is no con here- only pros.

Tiffany Ruby DBTY:
I've been obsessed with this for a while. The color of the Rubies Tiffany uses are gorgeous.
It's my fave DBTY.
Cons- it only comes in yellow gold and platinum. I'm not a fan of yellow gold, but willing to make an exception for this piece. I do love platinum but I don't think it shows well in platinum. If they had this in Rose gold, I would have got it by now.

I really love the hoops, but with larger stones so the hoops would be custom made with Whiteflash in platinum since I can't wear white gold, especially in my ears.

The ring well.. it speaks to me. But honestly I can't say how much wear it would get.

The Ruby DBTY is a fave. Well it would be if it didn't come in yellow gold. Still, I love it enough to overlook that.

Asking for help deciding- what would you all pick and why?

It really depends on what you already have. I have a ton of rings, so the ring would be out for me. And like you, I prefer white metals over yellow, so the necklace (while beautiful) wouldn’t get much wear. The most practical, timeless and versatile piece is the earring, IMO. Especially since you admit you prefer white gold and the necklace is only available in yellow gold. And while the ring is stunning, I’m not sure the style will stand the test of time. So my vote is for the earrings, and that’s despite the fact that I have substantial pair of 2.5ctw diamond hoops that I rarely wear because I basically wear my diamond studs every day :lol: GLD!

I think it's best to go with what speaks to you + what fits all of your specifications (especially when you're going to pay so much). Don't settle for something that isn't exactly what you want!

Reading your post, I feel that the ring for Option #2 is what you're leaning towards the most. :tup: (and I also think it's a very cool and beautiful ring!)

Besides, it's not like you can only choose one and never ever be able to buy the others at a later point it time! :biggrin:

Just FYI, for diamond hoops. The ways the diamonds are set, your hair may get caught a bit as you move your head, especially if you let your hair down most of the time. And those curved edges can catch not only hair but maybe the string on a mask if you're taking it off a bit too fast. Just something to think about :smile:

I just feel like those hoops in platinum might get a little heavy for your ears. They are definitely beautiful though.

Have you tried on the ruby dbty in person? That would confirm whether yg would work or not quickly!

If the ring speaks to you, you might have to bring it home even if it's nobody else's taste (I think it's pretty cool too though). It does look pretty versatile with the bonus of tiny hidden macabre!

They are all so different but it sounds like you want/need/desire that ring.

Whatever position on your body you most wear jewellery is the thing you should go for. We are creatures of habit and comfort and whatever you buy needs to be worn.

The hoops. You love them, you know you’d wear them, and you can customize them to the right metal and stone size. I have inside out hoops and love them!

Thanks everyone. I think it's going to be the hoops this time.
The ring, while my fave, probably won't get much wear. The hoops I can see replacing my studs.

I have two sets of inside-out diamond hoops. The larger pair is 3 TCW (so 1.5 each ear) and they are probably one of the least worn items in my jewelry box. The others are huggies and I wear them often, more than my studs.

I personally would go to try on the Tiffany necklace again before deciding. I'm always surprised by the color tones of their golds.
