Hi ladies..

Would love to hear your thoughts- i have been thinking about replacing my 5 motif WG MOP bracelet with the Onyx and Diamonds 5 motif bracelet.. however, the price difference of $19,900 vs $6,100 is like making me think twice..

I also am unsure if i will miss MOP if i swap it out for onyx. And one thing i dont really like about the onyx mix diamonds bracelet is that the diamonds motif may flip on its "belly" at times and it would bother me.. LOL. For the huge price tag and the issue about the diamonds flipping over on the back, i havent been able to decide/pull the trigger..

Hi! I think you answered your own question. I would not get the oynx pave unless you really love love love it.
To add to the points you made which are very valid, I want to add that you really only see two motifs at one given time (as in your photo, you only see two MOP motifs), so you won't get the full impact of the alternating bracelet as you will see just one oynx and one pave motif. I think if you like the pop of oynx, I would SO a WG oynx bracelet. Keep your MOP bracelet, you can wear both together. I think that is more striking for "color" in my opinion and a bolder stack (I see you like to stack).

I have the WG MOP bracelet (I actually have two WG MOP bracelets and wear them together), and I love it. The MOP is so glowy, and you can wear it with everything. I would not wear oynx with everything.

Just my two cents. Both are great choices, but each is a different look. I vote get the WG all oynx.
Good luck on your decision. I also think your WG MOP bracelet is gorgeous!

By the way, my guess is you are in Canada? The US price is $4,250 for the WG MOP and $13,800 for the onyx pave. I was actually going to purchase a WG oynx set, and the WG oynx bracelet at the time was a little over $5K USD for your reference.

Have you tried the pave onyx on?
I was also hesitant to get a pave bracelet too but I bought the lapis pave after passing it up a couple times. I too thought the flipping would bother me. However, I find the underbelly of the pave motif almost as pretty as the pave side. I also thought the price was a lot for just 2 pave motifs that you only see one at a time. But with a bracelet there is so much movement that you get to see all motifs. I also find the pave really elevates the bracelets and it is so beautiful on it’s own compare to the all stones bracelets. If I were to get another 5 motif I would only get another pave alternating.
Your wg mop might serve another purpose. I will keep it for now and also get the onyx pave if you love it.

Btw the website lists it as 13,800; unless you're maybe in Canada?
Almost had a mini heart attack when i saw the price you posted lol

Hi! I never knew there was a WG Onyx 5 motif option... is it a custom made piece?

I am in singapore LOL :p sorry to scare some of u abt the price difference..

I dont think I would wear 2 5 motif bracelets together thats why if i get another WG bracelet, i thought i should let go of the one I have to stick to my minimalism approach.. "buy what i need, sell what i dont.." hoho !

I have the YG guilloche 5 motif bracelet that i wear when i am in a YG mood, i dont stack with the WG.. interesting, i thought diamonds, onyx or mop would go with everything!

Hmm, decisions decisions.. LOL. Cld i see how you stack yr 2 bracelets? :)

True, i agree there is movement in bracelets so it is beautiful all around.. the pave mixes are indeed beautiful, i just wonder if it is worth the price tag.. in some cases, it is almost akin to price of a rolex watch. lapis pave sounds beautiful!! Is it with YG or RG? I love the grey mop pave bracelet, i would get it if it was YG but it does look nicer with RG

If you are asking yourself if it is worth the price tags then I would pass.
My lapis pave is yg. I have a yg Rolex day date that I just don’t wear much and wear my lapis pave way more. So all depends what you love and value.

Yes, you can SO (Special Order) the WG oynx 5 motif. It is gorgeous! I need to get @EpiFanatic in this thread to post her gorgeous pieces! She is the queen of WG bracelets and has every known WG 5 motif bracelet option. Her oynx bracelet pops to me.

As you requested, here is a photo of my two same WG MOP bracelets. I love how bold two bracelets are, yet it is still a simple look, not busy at all, just bold. Hope this helps.

Okay, I have both of the bracelets you are talking about. These are two entirely different bracelets worn with different clothing. I only wear one at a time. So no, I would absolutely not sell the wg white mop! It's a staple piece that is great for the summer and will go with almost anything. I wear my onyx pave more in the fall and winter as I wear a lot more black during those months. As Lynne said, the backs of the pave pieces are beautiful and I do not even notice whether they are flipped or not. These two are my most essential Alhambra bracelets and the two I'd choose if I could only have two. Having two is still fairly minimalist, in my opinion. I do not consider either of them a bracelet I'd wear all the time, as in every day. I'd choose an all white gold or all yellow gold classic hammered motif for that.

Thanks for sharing! I only have "summer" here essentially as we dont have 4 seasons here where i live.. lol. So i guess MOP should work for me.. i just love the mixing of 2 stones, gives the bracelet more character.. =p
