My 40th birthday is coming up in December. I really want to treat myself to something nice and am really, really torn between these 2 pieces. Please help me decide and let me know what you think.

1. The Tiffany diamond heart necklace. I've been looking at this piece for many, many years. BUT, is it too youthful for my age? Going forward, do I see myself wearing a heart necklace into my 50s, 60s? The beauty of this piece is once I put it on, I won't take it off, just like my diamond cross necklace. I can wear it almost daily and it'll get a lot of use.

2. The Tiffany T diamond bracelet in rose gold. This item is on my wishlist. The price point is slightly over my range, but what the heck, as a 40th birthday present, I ought to treat myself to something really fancy. But this is a piece I won't be able to wear every single day, since it's so fancy. And I won't go to sleep with it, at the end of each night, I'll take it off and put it away. But since it's a Tiffany T collection, I can really build on it: get Tiffany T rings, buy a Tiffany T cuff,...etc. The options are endless.

Both pieces are beautiful. I have not seen the T bracelet in real life so I can't comment much on that. I do have the heart pendant in the small size and that is the most versatile pendant that I have. I wear it the most and I own many Tiffany diamond pendants. It is great with V and round necks. I am around your age. I worried about it being too youthful before I got it many years ago but then I saw pictures of Betty White wearing one, I pulled the trigger. If it looks fantastic on her. She wears her diamond heart often.

I think think the diamond heart pendant is absolutely stunning. I think it would look gorgeous on anyone of any age. If you've wanted this for a long time your 40th will be a perfect opportunity to get it. I actually am not all that fussed on the bracelet. I'm not sure why, maybe I just think the heart is so pretty!

Both pieces are beautiful. I vote you go for the heart pendant since you've wanted it for years, you'll be able to wear it everyday, and it's within your budget. The bracelet is really pretty, too, but maybe get it down the road. I love diamond bracelets but find diamond necklaces so much easier to wear because they don't snag on clothes as easily or get in the way. Good luck with your choice! :smile:

Although I almost always choose bracelets, this heart pendant is so stunning that I prefer it over the bracelet. I think that it goes with anything and looks gorgeous on any age, so you'll definitely get plenty of enjoyment out of it!

I say the heart pendant! I think its a great versatile piece you could wear with anything. I don't think its to youthful because ive seen women of all ages wear heart pendants.


The T wire bracelet with diamonds is beautiful as well but I think the plain wire bracelet is a nicer piece. There are not many diamonds on the wire bracelet but the price difference between the the diamond version and plain version is steep.

IMO, Tiffany makes the most beautiful diamond cross and heart necklaces. There's something so unique about their setting that makes the diamonds stand out and the metals melt into your skin, so all you see is bling.

I do already own a tennis bracelet although the diamonds are smaller. So I can always get this Tiffany T bracelet later. I should get what I've always wanted which is the heart.

Get the diamond heart necklace! It's so pretty & classic For me that diamond bracelet is my favorite of the diamond bracelet options. It feels a bit masculine & not as classic to me Just my opinion :) You can always get a diamond bracelet later!
