I love love love both designs so much and the SA told me that all the signature bracelets are OOS and would need a deposit + 7 months wait so I got the alhambra.

But not sure which bracelet I should get first for a first luxury bracelet?

Thanks for your help in my quest to make up my fickle mind :confused1:

I love the effortless elegance design of the alhambra bracelet. So, my vote goes to alhambra. I think it is iconic and elegant, and can be dressed up or down.
I am surprised to hear that the waiting time for signature bracelets are now 7 months+. For real, VCA? Wow....

Where are you based if it’s alright to ask?

And as your first purchase would you prefer a piece to wear often/daily, or you’re happy to take it on and off frequently? If the former, then the signature bracelet may be a better pick. If these are not considerations personally I’d choose the Alhambra as I love to look at the colours/variations of the stones :) If you don’t mind you could even get an extender and wear it as a necklace so there is an added option if you like.

I'm in Singapore!

Thanks for your advice. I think I wouldn't mind taking it on and off as my DH has been helping me with my sweet bracelet after I got it so he has to keep doing it for me anyway hahaha but I do love the look of the signature and another consideration is that I have not tried on my correct size since it's all sold out so i cannot tell for sure if i like it on me or not...

Me too, i'm leaning towards keeping my alhambra and going back in May (about 7 months) to buy the signature as my bday gift LOL

I am in SG at the moment too! If you are after a WG signature in size Small there was a piece available at the ION Boutique this morning :)

Whatever piece you choose I’m sure you’ll love! I am surprised they said it would take that long to come in, I wonder if they are tempering expectations and it will actually come in earlier before Christmas... that would make more sense to me because more likely they would restock before the holidays?

Oh I just went to Ion at about 3pm. I'm a medium so they are all sold out haha.

Yes I think you're right, the SA told me that it's an estimate so I think it might be instock before then. I will probably go again to try them on properly and get to know what colour I want.

So happy to know that there are so many vca friends in Singapore too! It was really crowded today....

Ahh sorry to hear! Was there a queue?

I was surprised when the SA told me there was only the small WG and large YG left. I was told to go at 10am to beat the crowd, and for the first time I arrived as they were cleaning the store for the day haha.

The SAs were much more relaxed and it was a good time to slowly try on different pieces before deciding, so that’s a new thing I’ve learnt today — if you’re even half as fickle as I am it may be a good time of day to visit and browse with less pressure! No doubt many PFers are VIPs though, so this is probably a moot point :p

Singapore ... :crybaby:I had to cancel my trip to visit Singapore and Australia in March due this COVID-19 pandemic.
I am praying that this pandemic will be over in next year or two, so we can all resume traveling to the beautiful places around the world.

I actually went at about 1pm and she told me that she will give me a call because she was attending to some clients... I walked around and she called me at 2pm to get another SA to attend to me but yes there was a small queue - nothing compared to Chanel or LV though haha

I should have done that too! It's too late now... haha tomorrow it will be a ghost town there LOL

ME TOO! I was supposed to go to Australia in April to buy my first VCA but my trip got cancelled so I went to VCA and got my first sweet alhambra MOP bracelet. Now I'm just addicted to getting more and more vca x.X

I'm hoping travel will resume by next year and at least I can get some tax back from bigger items.

Is Australia cheaper for VCA as compared to Singapore? I am currently feeling rather bumped because both items I wanted to get before the price increase are OOS. :(
