I have one pastel pink G Shock, and a few metal Seiko essentials watches. I've always wanted to add another G-Shock watch to get the boyfriend/statement watch look without it being too heavy or large. I'm considering between these two watches. Should I get the rose gold, the gold, or both?

If you're going for a boyfriend watch vibe, I would suggest the yellow gold. Both are pretty feminine imo, but the pink one is very pink and probably less convincingly a boyfriend watch.

Unless you have more that will go with the pink and you are okay with it not really having much masculinity to it. I'm all about working with the wardrobe, otherwise accessories won't end up getting worn/used.

If you are open to an alternative, you might be interested in Brew watches. They are more of a man's watch but women wear them (as is proven in the pic below) and definitely fill that "boyfriend watch" category. They are really fun and have a young, cool energy to them. I don't have one myself (yet) but they get awesome reviews and often sell out of certain styles.

I don't know anything about G-shock watches, but personally I prefer the contrast of the black dial with the gold bezel.

The one with the pink gold bezel and pink gold dial is a little too much for me. Kind of looks all blended together from a distance.

But gold vs pink gold also depends on how it looks with your skin tone.
Have you been able to try them on in person?

No, I haven't. I might see if I can try them on in person, but they also allow returns.

I agree with the above posters…I think the yellow gold with black face has more of that boyfriend watch look, and will be more of contrast to the pink g-shock you have. Looks great!

If you can I’d go both ..they’re both great..different looks..will go with different jewellery..if as you say they allow returns you could always return one..

Yellow gold is both more classic, albeit with a vintage rock star vibe.
Pink gold is more feminine, but a bit young
:)
