Maybe you could post pics and we could id them for you. I believe there are quite a few that come with chain straps.
Yea, like Jody said, a lot of Chanels come with gold chains. Is is just the chain? Or is the leather interwoven between? Is it a big bag, small bag, shoulder bag? The classic totes have gold chains, classic flaps have gold chain, reissues... etc.
