Hi,

I'm looking for a Trinity ring to wear every day but cannot choose btw these two beauties.

Both are medium models but the difference is one has a diamond-paved ring and the other one has 5 diamond studs on each ring (so 15 in total).
The price of a full paved diamond is around 3 times more expensive

For everyday wear and for work, which one would you suggest, regardless of the price difference?
I'm afraid that the one with full paved diamond would be too flashy for daily wear.
Someone has it and would like to share the experience?

Another question is about the scratches between the 3 rings. I'm afraid the surface of the diamond would get scratches too much.
Is that normal wear that will be shown for this model?

Thank you for all your input.

First of all, I do have neither but I prefer the pavé. Re scratches I just asked the same question and was told that scratches will happen, especially with the diamonds. However, these scratches are inside the other rings and the SA showed me that. And she was exactly right. You just never stop learning.

I have a weakness for pave diamonds, so I am a bit biased and chose the full diamond one. :P

Having said that, I do agree with @Hermes Nuttynut and if I had it, it would probably not be something I'd wear to work.
Even now when my co-workers and people who work with me know what I kind of person I am, my current daily "work wear" rings already attract enough attention as it is hah.

The 1st one with the pave diamonds definitely has more sparkle and gives a very high-end and sophisticated feel.
Btw, I'm not saying the 2nd one with 15 diamonds doesn't look good. It's a different aesthetic. It gives me a more whimsical light-hearted vibe.

I do think that the pave one will scratch the inside of the other rings if you tend to move the rings around a lot. However, if you get the right size, they shouldn't move to much once they're on your finger. It'll probably happen the most when you take it off and on, but that is inevitable. (Unless you're the type of person who likes to figit with your rings)

In terms of scratches, I'm not sure if the diamonds in the 2nd one are set in more "deep" into the ring that they won't scratch the inside of the other rings. That is something that you may have to go into the store to find out.

They are both beautiful rings! Good luck and happy shopping!

I have the etoile and I love it. Its a little big for me for my ring finger, but I love seeing the diamonds sparkle. It is also really understated and I like that a lot. No matter which one you buy, enjoy it in good health.
