Which Tiffany Key should I get?

So I went to Tiffany's today and tried on the small oval key in both rose gold and yellow gold. This will be my first Tiffany item and something I plan to wear all the time and for a long time. The rose gold was more subtle and blended in with my skin more while the yellow gold popped more. I decided I liked the yellow more and told my husband when I got home (he will be buying it as a gift for our 1 year anniversary). Then he said that he also wants to get me the gold Alphabet pendant for my birthday:

So should I get 2 yellow gold items or switch it up and have one yellow and one rose? I do think the yellow gold is more classic and like the yellow key better, but I'm not sure if I want my only 2 Tiffany items to be the exact same metal.

I am trying to fugure out the same thing!
My dilema is a little different though. I want the key on a their bead chain in the opposite color. I can't decide if a rose gold key would look better on a YG chain or if a YG key would look better on a RG chain. I think the RG would look better on a YG chain, but I too like the YG key better, and if I had the RG chain, I'd probably get more use out of it because I could wear WG or silver on it too.

If your chain is going to match, then I vote YG. SO beautiful.

I didn't know it was common to mix and match the chains! That's why I was surprised when the SA asked which chain I wanted to try which key on! Is it a common thing to do?

I didn't know it was common either..lol. I just want to have all three colors WG,YG,RG on at once so I thought that would be a good way to do it..lol.

Congrats on your decision! I'm sure it will be amazing!
