Which size would you buy?

I need a suit and decided on one from Ann Taylor. The closest Ann Taylor is 45 minutes away and I have spent a small fortune returning things in the mail lately (although still cheaper than paying the gas to drive there and back). I have a 25 in waist: a zero has a 24.5 in waist and a 2 has a 25.5 in waist according to their website. I am wearing Eddie Bauer pants today that say they have a 25 in. waist for a size 2, but the behind is huge on me (I guess the waist is OK). Should I order the 2 knowing they will be slightly too big or should I go with the zero? I'd need a 2 for the jacket.

I guess if a zero could be snug around the waist you should get the 2. Usually you can exchange for free if it doesn't fit.

Get the zero. I know Ann Taylor runs large.

Yeah go for the 0, the pants run big! I have a 27" waist and I think I can fit into 2s there (I usually go for a 4 or 6).

Another confirmation that 0 would be better and that their items run large. I'm a 25, too, and their 00 dresses fit me perfectly.

You should buy larger and take it to the tailors for your perfect fit. I recently took a bunch of stuff to the tailors and was so happy with the outcome. The cost of alterations outweighs clothes just sitting in the closet because of an ill fit.

Thank you everyone! I will order the 0 and see how it goes. If chinadoll724 is a 25 and takes a 00 I may still be going to get them altered!
