Hello guys i am thinking to pull the trigger to purchase my first chanel 19 in silver hardware but just couldn’t decide on which colour… Which one do you think is more versatile and visually appealing with silver hardware? The beige or black?

Cheers:biggrin:

Hah! I was going to say definitely the beige :hugs:

perhaps this is a question of which to get first?

note: I think black is more practical, but I’m not exactly a practical person re bags

all this depends on OPs color palette; wardrobe preferences; time of year; geographic location
if it rains a lot, black is definitely more practical and versatile for example. ..

I love both as I think either can be easily worked into a wardrobe. Black would be more carefree for sure. This is a very tough choice but agree that taking into account current wardrobe and weather conditions will help you make the decision. I would choose the beige but I admit that I am completely biased in that opinion.

Good luck with your decision and please post more pics of the bag you choose. They are both beautiful!

Thank you for the insight.... the vote are currently equal right now between the black and beige :P
Honestly i'm thinking to get only one Chanel 19 and planning to wear it all year round. I live in Southeast Asia and it's pretty equal between wet and dry season. The carefree side of me would pick black but visually this particular shade of beige with silver hardware is speaking to me more LOL

Have a good day

Currently i am leaning towards the beige but who knows the carefree side of me might win and chose black instead LOL  .. At this crazy price point i need to be 1000% sure on which one to get. Anyway have a good day

I have the black 19 with reverse hardware and love it, but I also am a fan of the 19 overall. It's a great everyday bag. One consideration is that the 19s carry the seasonal beige each season so the shade does vary. If you happen to love this shade of beige with the reverse hardware then you might want to choose that one while you can. You can't make a wrong decision, but I've learned to listen to my heart when I see the bags in person. I've tried to make the practical choice several times, and found myself still obsessing over what my heart wanted, only to end up getting it anyway. FWIW, I have several lighter colored 19s, including a tweed, and while they're not carefree, the lambskin isn't as delicate as other styles. If you're getting a small, and go with the beige, you do need to be careful of color transfer (I try to carry my lighter ones on the crook of my arm with dark denim) - if that makes you nervous then you have your answer! Let us know which you decide is the one!
