Which should I pick? Cartier or Tiffany?

I get to pick my Valentine's gift this year and this never happens. I need to decide between Tiffany's DBTY .17 necklace or the Cartier Diamants Leger Small. If anyone has comparison pics I would appreciate it. I was able to try on the Tiffany today but not the Cartier as I couldn't get an appointment in the boutique. Also, can Cartier lengthen the chain? I think it's 16 inches but I would prefer 17. Tiffany said they would. Thanks!

I prefer Tiffany's DBTY.
Cartier will lengthen, they did my Love necklace. Went from 15.5" to 18". Issue is it can take a looong time. At least it did with me.

I prefer the Tiffany as well, especially if it’s in platinum. I think it’s more iconic and has a delicate and floaty look.

The tail on the Cartier leger is prone to making the necklace flip backwards. Lengthening it wouldn’t be a problem.
