Which should I get?

I am having the hardest time deciding between the Louboutin Cabata tote and the Small Paloma tote. So much so that I'm kind of thinking about getting both, but I REALLY shouldn't since that would be murder on my wallet! Below are my current thoughts on the two bags...would love your input to help me make a decision.

Cabata tote
Pros:​
  • LOVE the combination of the black, red, and studs!
  • Great size and totes are my most used style of bag so this would definitely get used
  • I don't currently have any black totes
Cons:​
  • I already have 10+ totes, and as much as I love them and find them the most useful style of bag for me, I've also kind of felt like I need to branch out
  • As much as I really really love the black, red, and studs, I can't figure out if it is enough to make it different from any other black tote? I know I could get a quality black tote that's not Louboutin for much much less...
  • No inner pocket on this bag. I've really come to rely on an inner pocket, especially in larger bags, for easy access to phone and my card holder/keys. It does, however, come with a pouch...just not sure if that will suffice for my needs.
Paloma tote
Pros:​
  • LOVE the design - the black, red, leopard and studs are all right up my alley!
  • I think this combination is definitely unique - I don't have any concerns that I could find something similar in quality and style for less
  • Although they call it a tote, I don't consider it a tote so it would add variety to my collection
Cons:​
  • It's on the smaller side for me and I struggle with downsizing, although I've also been trying to get better with it because sometimes always carrying around large bags gets tiresome!
  • I see this as a top-handle bag, which is not my favorite style. It does come with a shoulder strap, but long shoulder-carry is not my favorite either. On the other hand, I've recently discovered some hacks to shorten long shoulder straps that have been working out for me, so maybe this is a non-issue?
  • I fear it might not get as much use as I would want to largely due to the size and, to a smaller extent, due to the top-handle/long shoulder carry style (I know there is a medium size too, which would give more space, but aesthetically, I prefer the small size).

I myself have been lusting after this exact combo of the Paloma bag for awhile....while the tote is also a nice bag, this Paloma bag is beyond gorgeous! And a black tote is a black tote...and you already have a bunch....i say get the Paloma! Its such a stunning bag :heart:

Yes, aesthetically, I think the Paloma wins. It's got every element that I love from the Cabata plus the leopard! I think my indecision come down to usage - I know I would use the tote more. But, I could also just make a conscious effort to use the Paloma often... I wish I could justify both!

Just make sure the Paloma is in regular rotation...i think if u get it, that won’t be a problem, you will love it so much....It was on my radar last spring then i got sidetracked by some other bag purchases, but you’ve rekindled the desire for me :biggrin:

Keep us posted and definitely do a reveal whichever u buy!

While not everyone likes leopard, its so classic and always in style....and whats nice about the Paloma, its so subtly done on tge sides, just right and not overwhelming....

Yep, I love how the Paloma is so classic and understated from the from and then you get to the sides, it's like BAM! Studs and leopard! I feel like that's me as a person in bag form, lol! :lol:

You know, when I wrote that, I actually had the same thought as well. My hesitation, I think, is stemming from greed because I really want both! :lol: But if I'm choosing one, Paloma seem to be the one that actually speaks to me more.
