I am finally ready to buy my first Mark Cross bag (!) after saving up and deciding between two styles - the Laura and the Downtown bag. The downtown bag is a little more formal and I would ideally buy it in the tan color shown or an ivory. The Laura bag is a bit more casual, roomier, and I love the dark green in the attached photo for fall. Very tricky deciding between the two and would love outside opinions!
Which should I buy? Help me decide!

the 2nd looks more versatile - the 1st looks like it'd date faster and have fewer wearable options
