Which shoes should I get?! Suede or leather

Hi there! I'm thinking about my next Gucci shoes purchase, I was originally planning on getting ace sneakers, but don't like how worn the white leather looks after a while. Plus drivers are more classic. Just wondering which of these should I get, the suede or the leather? I will be wearing them once a week atleast, so which would wear better? I dislike how my leather shoes end up creasing at the toes, I've been able to avoid this with suede. Will the same hold true here? Also any other recommendations? Thanks!!

Of the two pairs you show, I prefer the suede. They remind me of my G driving shoes, which I absolutely LOVE. For whatever reason, I'm not drawn to the longer-style loafers that Gucci does. However, if you will be wearing them in damp conditions, the leather might be better?

For this particular shoe, I prefer the leather because I like the way the material stands out more, IMO. I do believe though that with suede, the creasing won't be obvious and with leather you do run into this problem. At the end of the day, I would ask yourself, which one do you like best? I'd try on both and compare. Hope this helps.

I like them both. The suede though is more subtle as it doesn't have the coloured stripes on them. Let us know what you decide on

I prefer leather. All the suede shoes/boots I have had ended looking very worn very early on. GLD

Though I do agree creasing at the toe is a bummer. Honestly, I would re-think Ace!

I would go for the leather. I find that the suede shoes get scuffed more easily. Good luck in your decision. They are both nice.
