I tried doing a search and couldn't find a thread like this. If I missed it feel free to delete my thread.

Can someone tell which Rolex watches are resistant and safe to wear in shower, bath, pool, ocean? Also maybe with ones are not?

Shower/bath can be problematic because of the nature of soaps which can negatively impair water resistance. Most models are at least water resistant to 100meters (essentially all modern rolex models) can be used to swim.

The Oyster models--that's their claim to fame (and the reason for the name). Go on the website to see the various models in that category. However, pressure testing is advisable from time to time, to be sure the water seal is still functioning.

Please note that waterproof / water resistance markings are only reliable if maintained properly (i.e. seals replaced and pressure tested regularly). I own a divers' watch and it gets thoroughly checked every two years; I bring it in earlier if I get it wet more often.

Rolex continues to develop new technologies and improve their watch’s water and pressure resistance. On 26 March 2012, the DSV Deepsea Challenger carried a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Sea-Dweller Deepsea Challenge prototype diving watch to a depth of 10,898.4 meters (35,756 ft). The watch resisted the water pressure and continued to perform with Rolex’s distinct precision. This is the deepest ocean depth anyone has explored, and a Rolex was there. However, the majority of Rolex watches can only maintain water resistance up to 300 meters.
