Which ring should I get for my 40th?

Hello! Please tell me which ring you like best. I initially liked the Garland because it's so unique, but there is something to be said for the classic designs. What do you think?? Blue Nile is having a 15% off sale right now and DH has given me the green light to buy now even though my birthday is in October.

I was all set on the Garland, then my BFF said I should go for the classic and now I'm thinking....should I get the classic?? Maybe I should just ignore her and stick with my initial love. Thank you for your help!!

It seems that your friend would want the eternity band, but it sounds like YOU want the garland band! I don't think the opinions of other people matter when it comes to choosing jewelry styles, because no one else has your preferences and your tastes. Even if 99% of tPFers voted for the eternity style, would that make you dislike the garland band that you currently love? I hope not! Get what makes your heart sing; jewelry that YOU will be wearing shouldn't be up for a vote!

Soooo true! I will stick with my first love. I think we always go back to that anyway, right?? I ordered the Garland and it arrives tomorrow!! I'm excited to try it on and see it IRL!

These are both very pretty! I like the low profile of the first one but the second... You could not possibly go wrong with that.
