The top handle looks like an afterthought to me. And the chain is not detachable so if you want to top handle carry, either you have to let it dangle or tuck it in which can look sloppy

I like the top-handle, but then I don't always get on with chains. However, if you want classic Classic, the CF should look like a CF, and that's no TH.

Then we can’t call it the hand-bag cause it got no top handle. I think carring a bag with top handle is moe diva and chic,chanel classic flap is little bit overused.every wannabe rich influencer carries them so i think we need to be little different from them

I agree, but I think we are in the minority. Chain (only) have to be worn very casually or they look too fussy (on me) so I end up having to dress down just to accommodate the bag.

I think the TH adds versatility, so the same bag go from smart/formal in-hand to more casual shoulder or even cross-body. I always think it's better to get as much wear out of a bag as possible.

I love top handles but more so in colors for some reason. For the black,
I’d go no top handle.
