So I'm lusting over a few bags and would like some outside feedback as to which one I should get. I'm posting pictures of the bags I'm looking at but not necessarily the colors I'm looking at. So please don't factor color of the pics posted.
The first two are the balenciaga metal edge bags, the styles are the town and city. Out of the bags I currently own I have the most from this brand. I have several cities and I had a town but sold it. I felt that the town was too small but lately I don't seem to carry a lot and when I do use the city it's usually half empty. I also find the cross body shoulder strap on the town as a big plus too. The biggest con is I can't see the color I want irl. If I don't like it and buy from the boutique I have only two options return for a store credit which I don't want or sell most likely taking a bit of a loss.
The next bag I'm looking at is the PS1. I currently own two one in the style I'm looking at and the other is a tote. The one I like is the fringe one. However I am concerned that one the fringe will get really super annoying to deal with every time I go in/out of the bag and two it will end up looking dated. Another con for me is the edges of the bag are sealed/glued and over time and use they do have cracks. While it's not the end of the world it's disappointing to me, I know every bag that is sealed with glue will eventually crack. I have been using my ps1 lately and I've forgotten how much I love this style.
The next bag is the Chloe marcie. I currently don't own any Chloe bags. I love the leather and I enjoy having both handles and shoulder strap. The only con for me is the edges are sealed/glued like on the PS1. So I'm worried that I'll be disappointed when that happens. I am also thinking this one might be the heaviest of the bunch I'm looking at.
The last bag of the bunch is at a much lower price point. A MBMJ leather bag. I love the leather and the style. The cons are the flap is closed by a strong magnet which may get annoying after a while. And that the color of the hardware is not the shade I'd prefer for the color I'm looking at.
I've been cutting back big time on my handbag purchases and am a lot more critical of my purchases than I have been in the past. I am also leaning towards smaller bags than in the past, I don't carry as much as I used to. I also like to be diverse in my collection as well. So please help me figure out what bag I should get next.
