Managed to get the model names out of the URL, these should be the bags :)

What I can say about the MK tote(my friend has the exact one) is that it's very, very stiff.
I have a small Jet Set tote and it's sturdy, but it doesn't feel… Well, as dry and hard as her bag.
No idea if it's supposed to be like that though, I do have bad experiences with how bags are treated at the store she bought it from, though, so it might just be that.

Do you only have the option of shopping online or can you go feel them out in a store? That could help :)

I don't have these specific bags, but I do have a TB Shrunken Square Tote in Electric Eel and MK Mini Hamilton in Luggage. Both are saffiano leather.

MK's leather is thicker and sturdier, whereas TB's feel very thin, almost like vinyl. I've seen non-candy colored TB's and it doesn't seem to be the case with these though.

On the flip side, the hardware, stitching, and lining of my TB are of better quality than my MK. In stores, I've noticed the kerning is off on the logos of a lot of the MK bags.

Appearance is something that's very subjective. Both are very good options.

My only experience with tb was a soft leather bag and it was not good. The edging started to open up in a way it shouldn't, near the main opening. I have a few mk saf Hamiltons and they have held up great. The only wear they have is mild denting due to poor storage. However when I go to use them they work out fairly quickly. The mk saf bags are more sturdy than the tb ones imo.

I don't have any experience with TB but I have the Michael Kors Selma in the palm green (mine is without the studs, but I love that studded one you posted! ) and I LOVE it! The saffiano leather is different for me, as it is a stiff leather and I typically go for soft, slouchy bags, but it is great on this bag as it holds it's shape. I've found the quality to be very good for the money, the color is gorgeous, and it is an easy bag to carry and use. It gets a ton of compliments too!
