Which one? (grey suede borough/crocodile print duffle)

Hi everyone!

Since the Semi-Annual Sale is ending this Wednesday, I was pondering getting the grey all-suede borough with 40% off; but then I saw the new crocodile print duffle and just can't make up my mind! Which one would you choose? Given the deadline for the SAS, maybe there is the option to purchase the borough, and then exchange it for the duffle, or even a Baseman tote later. If the handles and the straps were suede too, I would have passed on it; has anyone seen the all-suede soft boroughs in person? Any inputs are greatly appreciated! Thanks all!

Oh that's tough. I like them both. I would have to see them in person, then run them through my wardrobe pics and see which one I would wear more. I'd also think about what I wanted to put in them since they are very different shapes.

I think the gray one might be easier to wear, but the duffle is charming!

Thank you! I think the gray will be easier to coordinate too, and the borough is a staple in my wardrobe. Usually I'm not even into duffle bags, but this blue one has me sold! The size is just what I want too. How can shopping be so hard? Arrgh :push:

Being they are entirely different shapes/designs, my question would be the purpose of this bag is____. The function of each will make a difference, although i am normally not a reptile fan lol i do like the second bag, the colour the style, i played about with a smaller on in store last week, nice and deep.

Thank you! I'm looking to get a bag for occasional outings. Both look really nice though, that I just can't make up my mind!

They are both quite nice, personally i would opt for the second choice, different colour, unique print etc...being it's for occasional use that is the direction i usually take a standout colour, different shaping ... textures and so forth. ;)

I like the Borough. I have seen the soft Boroughs in person (not in suede) and they are very nice. I like the duffle in croc but I'm not sure I'm crazy about the color. If it helps, I think the duffle is a fun look while the Borough is more sophisticated to me.

I like the Borough bag better. I don't like a deep bag like the blue one. I think finding your stuff in the Borough bag would be much easier. But I'd be concerned that the suede in a lighter color like that would get beat up.

The duffle is adorable but I have no idea how nice it will be in real life. Coach lately seems to me to be using inferior materials, so I would get the Borough. If it isn't you, you can always return it, but if you don't get it now and wait for the duffle, you might be sad that you passed up the borough.

Thanks so much for your thoughtful responses everyone! I went to the nearby mall to return some items, and popped into the Coach FP store; apparently they're now a flagship store, so I actually saw the soft borough sitting right on the shelf! The floor model was a bit worn already, and looks like it could shed; given how it feels, I decided to pass on it. I'll see if I can check the duffle out in person, when it comes out on the new floorset! :D
