Hi lovely members..

I purchased new nano speedy for my daughter but she doesn’t want it. Now I have 2 nano speedy, old & new version. I don’t want to keep both, but I am having difficulties to make decisions. I have too much “speedy” in my collection. Beside the small size, I have size 35 and soon will buy size 25.
So I prefer to let it go. I am thinking to return the new one to LV. It’s just sitting in my closets, never used.
Both have pro and cons to me. My heart want the new one but my brain said it’s too small and considering the old one will be discontinued so I won’t have the chance to get it again if one day I regret it.
Please help me by voting. Thank you. :heart: :flowers:

regarding the treated vachetta, you can always appleguard and leave it out in the sun to get the same "treated" effect. i don't think the treated vachetta is waterproof though.

i think the biggest draw is the detachable strap. but like others have mentioned you can cut it yourself (based on past threads, TPF members were still able to get it replaced or repaired despite cutting the strap off)

i like the size of the old nano and that was already small for me. maybe instead of getting size 25, you can get 20 and keep the new nano.

i think new nano will retain its resale value FYI over old nano but i personally like the old nano

That is a dilemma. Is the strap length for the newer version longer at it's longest length? I had the old nano speedy but I returned it because the biggest con for me wasn't that the strap was undetachable but that it was unadjustable. It just fell too short on me (tall). I did however find the shape and size really cute. It looks like it would fit a lot more than the newer version. However, the adjustable strap is such a big pro. Yikes. sorry I'm not helpful - this one's a tough one.

I think this would complete your Range of Speedys if you are planning to get the 25.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I do have speedy 20, so if I need a bigger bag I am fine. Keepall XS is slightly bigger than nano but smaller than 20. So again I am fine. :biggrin:
I realize the biggest issues here is the detachable or non detachable strap. As for strap sizes, if you put new nano on the last hole, it will be the same length with the old one. But here is the plus point, you can change to other strap to match your liking if you want longer. And I don’t have courage to cut the old one strap. Nano is very hard to get, if something wrong with it, I will kick my self very hard. :lol:

I'd like to add that don't be afraid to cut off the strap if you want to keep the old version.
I've got a Nano Noe and decided to let my leather surgeon cut the strap off and put non-LV claps on both ends.
Do you know what I feel right now?



Freedommmmmmmmmmmmmm, it's such a pleasure to be able to use the bag as I wish :biggrin:


I'm not afraid of the resell value as I've all the necessary accessories that came with and I've been making good use of it to reach the break-even point.

I would keep the old Nano, if the strap length doesn’t suit you, just send to leather expert to remove it (if you dare not DIY), attach non-LV clasps to the strap, to be used on other bags.
You can always get other print in the new nano size as LV would make LE in new nano size , just like what they did on the recent Denim Nano Speedy :flowers:
