Which LV Backpack Montsouris PM 2020 should I get?

Long story ahead.. lol
I had the Montsouris PM (Black/Monogram). It’s was by far my favorite carefree bag, as I have a toddler and it was so nice to have my hands free. And I think, personally, that the Mono and Black combo is stunning.
Unfortunately, the canvas corners of the backpack started to peel with only having it for 2 months! I was shocked. A very nice CA inspected the corners and granted me an exchange for another one. Within just 3 weeks the new one also started peeling in all 4 corners! I work from home, 6 days a week, and it’s always stored in the dust bag so it’s not a wear and tear problem.
It’s such a bummer because I absolutely love that backpack so very much but I would be afraid of that happening again. That being said, I’d go for the Empreinte Leather.

I wrote a whole post about having the Black Empreinte one in the Jan 2021 purchases forum. I typically buy a lot of LV and never return bags.... but I returned this one. For almost $3000 with taxes the quality was terrible. The bag was lackluster and just looked and felt incredibly cheap. I ended up returning it. I am sorry that doesn't really help you, but I have seen a ton of bad comments about quality and wear and tear with these new backpacks. I even held the monogram one at the store and it also felt super cheap. Not well made at all. Maybe something else? Good luck!
I have the empreinte leather one but in the turtledove colour - I've been wearing it when I walk to work and haven't had any issues. It's a lovely soft leather and doesn't seem to show dirt. I did purchase a bag organiser to put in it to make things a little easier to find.
