Which lengths to layer two dbty ?

I have a rose gold dbty .07 16 inches and am going to buy a dbty style sapphire pendant .15 in rose gold also. I would like to layer them quite close to each other. What do you think the length of the sapphire should be (I cannot try it on) ? I have the choice between 16.6 and 17.7 (European conversions). I have a 17,7 necklace that is a little lower than I’d like but I’m worried 16,6 isn’t enough. tia

I had two chain extenders made from a chain that I did not use. One is 2" and one is 4". This way I can create different looks with different necklaces and am not stuck with one length. Your local jeweller can also make one for you.

I think 16 and 16.6 inches may indeed be too close together. A chain extension might be better to give you more options for sure.

I find the DBTY necklace to move quite a bit due to how small/light the design is so you may want to consider a necklace layering clasp (lots on sale on websites like Amazon and Etsy) as well to prevent annoying tangles.

Can you do anything to prevent the DBTY Diamonds from flipping? Mine are .10 pts each and constantly flip to the wrong side.

I have both 16 inch (above) and 18 inch (below) that layer perfectly.

If you can, try and get loops fitted on the necklace chain so that you can adjust them to different lengths if you are wearing them separately.
