which large workbag

I am clearing out my work bags as they are beautiful but not large enough for my needs (SL Museum Briefcase and H Bolide).

I need to fit my 13' macbook, A4 sized papers and the occasional textbook, in addition to the regular essentials, so we are talking quite a load that exceeds a 36 cm sized bag.

I have an H Double Sens but it seems to casual at times (I am an academic so we are not talking boardroom).

I am between a Chanel GST XL or the new model LV Delightful in Ebene mm size - both would hold a lot.

which would you prefer or any other suggestions? I need to be able to carry it on the shoulder

I don't think the Gucci Jackie is very practical, though it is a beautiful bag. I vote for the Chanel GST; it's shape and structure are ideal for what you need.

From what I've read of the GST though is that if you put heavy things in it (laptop) then it will have a bottom sag. If you don't mind your GST sagging, then it could be an option. Also looking at the LV delightful, it doesn't seem like it'd be a good bag for holding papers or laptop due to where the handles are placed.

Thanks for your feedback on Jackie hobo and LV delightful - it seems that Hobos are not as practical, although I love to carry them.

Hadn't thought of GST sagging, I think I will put a purse shaper in it if I choose to get this, which hopefully will help
