Which is more worth it? Chanel Boy Black or Navy Blue (small size)?

I am thinking of getting a pre loved Chanel boy in small size caviar, in aged gold hardware.

Both are selling at 4330 USD with full set, but i am tied between the black or navy blue.

Black is the classic colour and navy blue is a rare unique colour,

Kindly seek my fellow Chanel lovers for your advice !

Navy Blue with aged gold is so unique in my opinion and you won’t see this boy combo often on other people, but honestly can’t go wrong with both

Depends which would work better in your wardrobe, as both are classic (and neutral to me) colours. I don’t think you could make a wrong decision!

I wear blue as a substitute for black and I often mix it with black in my wardrobe.

if you are classic in style, go for black (but this depends on how many black Chanel bags you already own)

if you want something that is more playful. Go with blue. IMO this is classic with a twist rather than modern (a more modern look would be blue with rhw or an so black )

Black can pair easier with any wardrobe. Good to go on any occasion. No need to think twice or more if you are in a rush.

I just added an old medium navy blue boy with light gold hardware. For me, it was a good addition to my small collection because I have 4 black Chanel bags and did not have a navy.

I say, if you have black in your collection, maybe switch it up and add the navy. Navy is a good pop, yet very neutral and can be styled pretty easily. Also, I feel that navy is a great alternative to black during the spring and summer months.

I think the navy looks much nicer in the caviar, the boy looks better in black lambskin. I'd for sure pick navy, it's a neutral color.

A family member of mine owns the navy blue boy and it is stunning. Hard to choose! I guess it depends on how much you like black bags. She didn't want a black bag so she went for a navy one.

The blue boy with GHW is stunning! I think this combo is hard to find and is such a head turner. Similar to you, I have many blacks and adding a navy blue would give you options.

Love the navy blue but think it looks much better with lambskin.

If dead set on caviar, I vote black.

Both are beautiful!
I have recently added a black Boy in old medium size, but that blue is stunning!
My main reason for getting a black Boy was potential future repairs. I have had 2 blue bags in the past -one had a wear and tear on the intertwined leather in the chain and the other bag had some exposed stitching on its corners- and both times Chanel couldn’t complete their repairs as each blue is a seasonal colour and once it’s gone - it’s gone.
Having that experience, I figured black Boy would be a good choice for me this time.
Good luck deciding as they both are gorgeous Boys, so you cannot really go wrong
