Michael Kors Which Hamilton should I keep? Help me decide!

So long story short, I am in a situation where two very similar bags to choose from - Large Black Hamilton Hobo with SHW (which I bought at a local store) and Large Red Hamilton Hobo SHW. Hypothetically keeping both is an option but I don't really see that as a feasible one imho.

The thing is, returning the red one would be such a hassle. According to the net-a-porter website I could return it but I would have to pay for the shipping. So I guess it would cost the same as the shipping costs that I had to pay when I bought the bag originally, around €30? Returning the black one would be easier and wouldn't cost a dime.

But the problem is that I actually think I prefer the black one, even though I haven't seen the red one yet. So if you were in my shoes, would you pay a bit more to get a bag you would most probably love and wear more or go for the more convenient option even if you might regret it?

(Also, if anyone has experiences with returning items to net-a-porter, please share! )

I don't have experience shopping with NAP, but I think you've made the decision already - the black one seems to make your heart sing more. I think it's better to get the one that you really want rather than keeping the other "out of convenience" and ending up regretting it.

I'm not sure what a Hamilton hobo is?? Do you just mean the Hamilton satchel with the lock in the large size? If so, you can't go wrong either way. They are both STUNNING bags. Normally I would say that a color may go out of style quicker, but not in the case of red - that is a classic! As a matter of fact, in this case I would say that the red Hamilton will eventually be hard to get whereas the black one will probably be around for a while and would be easier to get later on if you decided you still wanted it. I think when you see the red one IRL your heart will skip a beat - it's unbelievably gorgeous.

But the black is a classic staple bag that will never go out of style. I have the black with SHW and love it to death.

Haha, I wrote the first post in a bit of a hurry, so I meant the TOTE not the hobo Stupid me!

I guess I must wait until Monday for DHL to deliver the red bag to make my final decision. But the point you made about red ones being more rare is true, I have never seen red ones in stores here.

Keep both (if they are the MICHAEL line). If not, keep the red because you can get a black bag anywhere.

Im partial, i say keep the RED! You can always get black later or another black bag you like better.

I would def keep the Large Black Hamilton Hobo with SHW...but I'm a sucker for black handbags.

I would keep the red. I think it'll look quite sexy with silver hardware. Red is always paired with gold hardware so it's not common to see it paired with silver. And it's rare to see this bag in stores too. I agree with GoogleMe and Lov, keep the red and return the Black. You can always get another black MK bag in the long run.
