which haircut is better for my face?

I always wanted to grow it out like in the second photo, but it's taking a while. When I pin it up (and excuse the pins, they're just keeping the shape in place), it looks like sort of how I want to have it cut when my bangs are long enough. For the time being, I have it like the first picture, which looks okay too, so I'm just wondering what haircut would look better for my face shape? Hopefully the haircut in the second picture would look better when it's more natural and not pinned. Thanks in advance!
