Sorry,I have to resurrect this... I had the same issues before but sooo glad to choose EVA over pochette as it gives me the same purpose and Eva is my best choice when it comes to functionality..LOVE IT!!!

Pochette.
I bought an extra chain as well as the bolt extender. I can use the bag as a wristlet, clutch, shoulder bag with gold and leather strap or as a dressier shoulder bag with the gold chain strap. With the cost of the bolt extender and the chain, the price is pretty similar to the Eva, but I don't like the metal plate on the Eva as well as the cross-body strap.
I also like that I can use my bolt extender and chain later on if I decide to purchase other pochettes too...

I would have to disagreee with you on this. The eva is hands down more dressier than the plain pochette.
Definitely get the Eva!
get the Eva. the gold chain makes it more dressy for special occasions while the long strap is good for casual. can't go wrong with that 
Another Eva vote here. I think it's overall prettier and more practical because of the size than the pochette.
