Hi Everyone!

This is my first post in the Cartier forum. I've had the small Trinity necklace (with an extender to make it slightly longer)

for a few years now, and want to go for my first pair of Cartier earrings for everyday. My earlobes are attached and pretty small, and feel like stud earrings sometimes draw attention to that. I'm wondering if maybe dainty drop earrings might be better, but anything circular or hoop-like might be too matchy with the Trinity necklace. What are your suggestions for my situation? Thanks so much!Cartier trinity.jpg

I have one earlobe that is attached the other is unattached so I can relate not drawing attention to them haha. (Also, certain stud earrings just don't look right/even/proportional due to my weird ears)

I do enjoy a very simple drop earring, usually a gold spherical ball or tear drop shape, or just a solitaire gemstone, preferably something that goes with everything like a diamond.

Are you looking for something more clean and simple? Or something a little more blingy~?

I'm currently obsessed with JUC hoops (not the minis but the midsized ones with the posts). I tried them on in store after my husband asked me to and I fell in love. I didn't even want to try them. They are so understated and comfy!

Also the small love earrings with the posts might be nice if you have small earlobes as you mentioned.

Thanks so much! I'm glad someone can relate. I think something clean, simple, and elegant is what I'm going for--probably yellow gold.

Thanks so much! I'm loving the look of the JUC hoops. I will have to go and try those on and see how they pair with my Trinity necklace.

I don't like any of the Trinity earrings very much although I love Trinity. Either find something from anywhere with 3 golds (knots would be great) or simple 18K little hoops or huggies.

Thank you! Yes, I definitely wouldn't go for Trinity earrings, too matchy with my necklace. Do you think hoops or huggies would be enough contrast to the necklace? Just don't want too many circular shapes going on.

I don't think so, it should echo because they're bound to be a bit different. Things shouldn't be match but they should work in harmony IMO
