First, it's good hearing from you! I hope all is well and you survived Helene with no, or minimal, damage if you were in it's path.
My wallet has darkened a lot since the sink incident. I brought it with me to Vegas but I've mostly been using my MK small zip around wallet. Not because of how it looks, it's just slightly easier to use the MK wallet.

Hi everyone, i just got my first florentine bag and it’s mostly all pebbled in the medium toggle chestnut. My mom bought the same bag and hers it totally smooth. What causes the variation? And which one ages better? And which do you all like better? Idk if to return it and ordered again since the last one i ordered was half smooth and half pebbles, at least this one is mostly pebbled
Taking out my cream satchel. I just love this color. 
Personally, I prefer the uniformaly smooth florentine leather. I envy US customers who have the option of choosing a bag in store....

Thanks - I love the strap, too! 😊 I've only had the bag for a week, but so far it holds its shape beautifully. The nylon is nice and thick; that plus the trim, wide bottom with feet and piping help the bag keep its structure. It's just like the nylon domed satchel, only smaller.

I have a few Dooney nylon bags too. And I agree they are high quality.
I'd like to add another one... in brown. I already have the nylon in black,
navy, red, wine, and khaki. Most of my bags are the satchels with the double zips
across the front. And there is a tote of 2 in the mix.
I'd like the regular satchel style and the bag you bought also.
Just concerned about the measurements.... I want a base at least 6" deep and
11+" inches long. And.... I haven't seen Dooney nylon in brown for years.
I'm a leather snob, so I don't want to build too large a nylon collection.
I already have more than 1 bag in black, navy, and khaki! 🙄
