Which do you prefer: Damier Ebene or Monogram?

Hey everyone! I've always been more of a monogram girl, but lately the damier ebene has been really growing on me! When I go out, I see a TON of monogram bags, and occasionally I'll see a damier ebene piece. I'm just curious as to what your preference is specifically between these two lines

Definitely damier ebene.

But some pieces look amazing in monogram. It's good to diversify. I do think ebene is stunning though. Classic elegance.

I truly love both, but I think Ebene looks classier (usually) and I like that it's waterproof! However I agree with Ishcat that it's a good move to diversify!

I own both but I prefer the look of Damier Ebene!

I prefer Damier Ebene over Monogram b/c it's practically worry-free and it looks like new after using the bag for a long time. Monogram is nice too, but I don't really like dark patina/vachetta

I've never liked monogram except on smaller accessories. I think it's because I see so many fakes that it has made me dislike the pattern.

Ebene all the way - but Azur even more the way!!

I have both, more so monogram but something about damier ebene makes my heart skip a beat.

I have more Mono pieces than Ebene but I prefer Ebene as it's more "worry-free". The majority of my Mono items were purchased years ago when I first got into LV with the exception of Eva as I liked the smaller plate vs. the bigger one on the Ebene.

I like both, but I prefere Mono. The LV logos, little stars and flowers are so cute! For me this is what makes LV so special.

I greatly prefer damier ebene. I have seen so many monogram bags knocked off that it has made me not like them quite as much.
