I am thinking of getting a dainty diamond necklace in rose gold. I will ask a local jeweler to custom made it for me. WHICH IS BETTER, TOP or BOTTOM PICTURE. I want something sparkly on my neck for everyday wear and at the same time sophisticated looking. Bottom picture is similar to Tiffany&co. Dbty.

Both are pretty.

Photos not mine.

I like the bottom pic. It is elegant and because it's fixed on the chain, your chain won't spin around your neck, ending with the clasp at the pendant.

I have to go against (so far) popular opinion and say the first one. I'm a fan of thicker chains (no TOO thick) since I've been seeing a ton of really invisible and cheap thin chains on gold jewelry lately. I also think that with the pendant and a great quality chain you can't go wrong purchasing other gold pendants (gemstones, etc) when you feel like switching it up. Lastly, I prefer the prong setting over bezel. But anyway up to you both look lovely.
