Which Chanel Deauville do I keep?

I am debating between a brand new light gray deauville tote or a pre-owned darker gray one (will save $300)
The lighter gray feels more like a thicker straw material if that makes sense whereas the darker one is softer & not as structured (can't see the weave like u can in the lighter one)
thoughts? Thanks

After months of researching before I purchased my Deauville, I can tell you my preference is towards the darker grey, as it hides dirt easier, and I didn't like the rafia material, it seemed like over time it would break down much more quickly.

I like the dark gray more. I also think the fabric wouldn't rub as much if you wore it with a tank top or sundress.

The darker grey is more of a sought after color as well...resale would be easier if you ever decided to sell.

I am the outsider as well... The light gray is a stand out. I love it!

Outsider no.3! The light grey bag fabric has a better texture and the contrast with the leather chain and piping stands out more

Thx I love the leather but as far as I know, it doesn't come in this small size (this size is more north/south versus the medium which is east/west
