I'm interested in getting my first designer piece of jewellery. Some designs, I already know I like more than others, but I'm curious out of which would be appropriate for someone who will be turning 30 in a few years. I've added a few non-Cartier lines that I also like.

Unfortunately, my lifestyle requires me to remove jewellery regularly. This is really a purchase for something I'd wear on my days off, but I might be only able to wear it for a day before it gets put away. I like rings a lot, I seldom wear necklaces and bracelets, and earrings always, but I'm limited to dainty earrings for work. Nothing below the elbows. Kibbe type? I'm a flamboyant gamine. I love the sculptural pieces.

Most of your options are bracelets, but you seldom wear them, don‘t seem to specially love them, and you cannot wear them during week... So probably not the best choice for you. Also, most of those pieces are not particularly sculptural, which you say you like.
If you are able to wear stud earrings to work, get a pair of earrings, you will be able to enjoy them everyday. A must for a gamine type.
But most of all, go with something you love. Elsa Peretti did some very sculptural pieces for Tiffany, including earrings.

Thank you for the responses so far.

Sculptural isn't really what I wear, but something that I admire. The Elsa Peretti bone cuff is beautiful and I love the look of it but I wear daintier pieces that aren't really noticed by other people, or at least they don't care enough to ask about it.

I've added bracelets, because my friend's trying to convince me that a bracelet is a great addition to my jewellery. Yes, it's something I don't have, but I don't wear it either. I don't think it's actually a good option for me. Another set of earrings would be nice too, but it doesn't feel quite as special when you have already have a set of diamonds and pearls in rotation. It makes sense that if I have a good amount of money put aside, it should go to a piece of jewellery I wear regularly, which is earrings. However, rings are the piece of jewellery that makes me feel the most special when I have them on.

I think the main question for the basis of this post is whether I should leave that money aside for something I might want in the somewhat near future (within a few years) or to just go for the item I originally saved for (the JUC ring). If I were to decide on another item down the line, which would "age better" in a jewellery wardrobe as I'm going into my 30s? At least that was what was going through my mind when I created this thread. These are the current lines I like that I think fit my current jewellery wardrobe but it's inevitable that your tastes are going to change as you age.

I would personally stay away from the tiffany T wire bracelet and thin JUC. The reason is that they are rather thin and consistency taking them on and off could bend the bracelets out of shape. Instead, you can consider the JUC ring because taking it on and off will not damage it at all. I might also consider the regular JUC bracelet. It's beautiful and a substantial piece.

If you love sculptural jewelry, why not wear it? It does not matter if other people notice.
Like it does not matter that your friends say you should invest in a bracelet when you don’t like bracelets.
Give yourself the pleasure of getting something you love. Have fun searching for a beautiful sculptural ring that you can wear at weekends and makes you smile every time you look at it (or spot someone admiring it).

The Love bracelet is my favorite. However, if you need to easily remove jewelry, my next choice is the JUC bracelet. Its really cool, looking, iconic, and if you like to stack it will look great with a Love bracelet if you add one someday. Wishing you luck with your decision.
