Which Cartier Watch (If Only One)

I already have a gold with black leather Tank Solo watch in size small. When I was deciding on which watch, it was either that or the stainless steel Panthere watch also in size small. If you were making the decision today, which would you choose?

If I go with my heart the gold tank.

The SS panthere will probably hold value much better, but the look is not for me.

And since I’m not interested in reselling my watches, I’d rather go with what I want.

Steel Panthere. This is the older small model from the original release in the ‘80s. The newer model has VERY SLIGHT, almost unnoticeable, differences in the face. HTH!

I would choose the Tank, I already have a tank solo in SS. I just love the shape of tank case on the wrist, gold with a leather strap is so beautiful as well. The Panthere is also a stunning watch! I have tried the SS on in small size when I was considering it. Cartier make the most elegant watches for women imo

Both is nice but if i had to pick one between the two you mentioned, i would go for Tank Solo in gold with black leather cause i think that combo is really nice especially in the small size - such a classic timeless piece.

The Panthere is nice too but i prefer both watches in gold.

I would go for the Tank. It feels eternal. I own a vintage tank & lot of compliments & goes with everything.

Yes they continued the entire tank solo line and replaced it with the tank must, I think just over a year ago. I don't think there is a gold version in the tank must line

Tank solo, no contest it’s about as classic as they come. I tried selling my panthere watch to a consignment store years ago before Cartier’s revival of the model, and the store didn’t even want to list it for sale. I doubt that would have happened with the tank.
