Which Cartier piece should I add next: WG Love Cuff with one diamond OR Clash ring?

I currently own the YG Love cuff with one diamond, RG Small Clash bracelet, YG Regular JUC with diamonds, YG slim JUC, and YG Love Open Circle necklace.

Thoughts About the Clash Ring:
—Will match my Clash bracelet
—Looks like a good alternative to my VCA Signature Perlee ring
—Not sure if I should wait for the YG version which is apparently coming out next year
—Less expensive than the Cuff

Thoughts About the WG Love Cuff:
—Would be my only WG bracelet from Cartier or VCA
—Would stack with my YG Love but not sure if that looks odd in a predominantly YG stack
—Not sure if I will go down a WG rabbit hole as I don’t own that many WG pieces
—More expensive than the ring

Here are some pics of me modeling both. Thanks!

I love the clash ring but I will be honest with you: I love this white gold cuff on you a lot! I think it adds something to your stack and I find it doesn't look odd or out of place at all. To be honest, I think it makes it look even more interesting. I love mixed metal stacks, but even if you weren't going to combine the three metals, I think you can wear all three metals (Y,R &W), and therefore, should take advantage of that!

Thank you for your feedback!! I was just worried it looked odd in the stack.

hmmm, this is tough. while to me 4 bracelets is getting to be a bit much, I do like the WG added to mix it up. I love mixing YG and WG metals. I'd probably would go for the WG cuff but keep it to 3 and just mix it up LOL, but I know a lot of people where you can't have too many stacked LOL

Go for the ring! It goes with any and all ox your bracelets.

The clash ring is growing on me, and you wear it beautifully. But I would go with the WG cuff, especially if your watch is SS. Would you wear all four bracelets at once or mix and match? 3 YG bracelets and a WG look a little busy IMO, but 1-2 YG bracelets with a WG is a gorgeous combo.

The photo with the WG cuff made me say “ooh!” Looks great with your bracelets and you could also mix and match when not wearing all of the bracelets together. Doesn’t look odd and gives the stack some variety. I want one now lol.

My watch is a two-toned Tank watch with diamond markers. My engagement ring set is also in WG. I have very few WG pieces and most of them tend to be no-name brands with the exception of the VCA Holiday Pendant from 2020. I’m not sure about how I’d wear them—probably not all four each day, but not sure. I would eventually like to add either one more WG piece (like the VCA WG Guilloche bracelet or a diamond tennis bracelet) to complement the WG cuff. Sigh. I keep wanting to be “done” with my jewelry collecting but then I get dragged into another rabbit hole lol.

Thank you!! I probably would just wear three at a time.

Clash ring! The RG isn't apparent at all imo on the Clash. I thought it was YG while trying it on before he corrected me and told it's RG lol
Yeah I’m not sure if I should wait for the YG version.

Thank you!! Yes it looks stunning right?

LOVE the wg cuff with your stack!
Thanks! Hopefully I can add it soon(ish).

My vote is to wait for the yellow gold clash ring. YG will match the rest of your collection better and fill a hole in your current jewelry wardrobe that the bracelet does not.

The bracelet is gorgeous for sure, but then you have to start either thinking about which piece to leave out of the stack or be comfortable with a heavy jewelry look on one hand. In my very humble opinion (and take this with a grain of salt and feel free to ignore if it doesn't suit you) but I think that all 4 very iconic and recognizable bracelets on one wrist might start to look showy. Like too many brand-names or logos on your clothes (but in jewelry) at once. Again, this is just my opinion and it all depends on where you fall on the line between "stealth wealth" and "if you got it, flaunt it." :P

Anyway, it sounds like you have a lot more bracelets in your collection than rings and the Clash ring looks amazing with the bracelets or even by itself. I think the ring actually makes the bracelets look more pulled together too. The bracelet just adds another bracelet, but the ring pulls the eye down to the fingers and creates an entire look. The ring truly enhances your current set and also looks good on you since you have nice hands.

I also suggest waiting for the YG version as that will coordinate better with the jewelry that you already have. It is less exciting to wait but I think it will be worth it once the time comes and you have exactly the right piece.

Best of luck with whatever you choose!!

Thank you so much for your detailed reply!! Yes I think it makes sense to wait for the YG version. Hopefully that will come sooner rather than later. My go-to ring right now is the VCA Perlee Signature in YG but I would like something else to alternate with. I also have the YG Frivole BTF ring but I find it to be more of a special occasion ring.

I agree with your point about the four bracelets. It would be a tad much. I am debating starting a WG stack, but that will require lots of coordination and pre-planning. If I get the WG cuff, I’d like to get another piece to go with it rather than always just adding it to my YG stack. However, funds are limited so I have to think hard about what would be best.

The yg clash ring could maybe be the "final" piece of the yg set and then you could start the WG set at some point down the road as funds become available. I really loved the clash ring on you though. It really accentuated the bracelets and pulled them together very nicely.

I like how the Clash ring matches the bracelet and pulls the collection together, but the VCA Perlee Signature does give a similar vibe to the Clash ring so it might pull those bracelets together in a similar way as the Clash does. They both have that uneven non-smooth edge that looks good with the similar edge on the Clash bracelet. I'm not sure what you wear on the other hand, but I'm thinking the Clash would be a great ring to pair with the VCA signature on opposite hands.

I love decisions where there is no wrong answer!
