I’m currently wearing a RG small Love & RG small JUC on my right wrist. I wear the RG diamond small JUC with my watch on my left wrist. My watch is either an SS/RG datejust, my beloved SS turquoise OP Rolex or black/SS sporty Hublot.

I want to purchase a 5 motif Alhambra bracelet to finish off the stack on my right for our 10 wedding anniversary!

I plan on wearing it daily but will take it off at night/showering. I assumed it would be onyx as I wear lots of dark grey, black & white as my neutral. Accent colours are khaki, sage, turquoise & coral. I’m an “English rose” with similar colouring to Kate Middleton.

Looking online, my husband likes onyx, malachite & tiger eye.

My thoughts:
Onyx - perfect neutral, can wear without worrying but I wonder if it’ll show dirt & fingerprints easily.

Malachite - green is my favourite colour & it’s beyond beautiful. I understand it is delicate & I don’t mind taking it off at night/when I’m showering. I wonder if it’ll go with all of my clothes or if it’ll clash (in a bad way). If needed, I understand I can replace a motif.

Tiger eye - very beautiful & quite eye catching. However, I don’t wear brown - ever - & I think it may clash with the greys I wear.

What do you all think? I’ll remove the black cord bracelet in my pic.

Sorry for the essay! This is a huge purchase for us!

green. If you wear light or dark neutrals, it will act as a pop of color
for orange, dark red, yellow, forrest green, it will complement. IMO
For jewelry, I don’t think you can go wrong with following your heart

If you can, do try them on in person. That way you will know for certain

ETA: I would never buy the safe choice in jewelry. To me, jewelry is a luxury and
one should smile joyously whenever looking at it

Have you thought about blue agate? It will give a pop and pairs nicely with the colors you mentioned
I’ve seen so many photos of Queen Camilla wearing her blue agate recently so it’s definitely on my radar! Unfortunately my husband doesn’t like it (online at least). I think it would work if I wore a lot of blue denim but my denim (skirts usually!) are usually grey or black.
I think onyx is probably your best choice.

Otherwise, would you consider white MOP, or the grey MOP alternating with the pave?
I agree onyx is the safest choice. My best friend has MOP which I tried. It seemed a little flat. I’m not sure. My SS/RG Rolex has a MOP dial & it’s so lively, I think I was underwhelmed by my friend’s MOP. Unfortunately I don’t like the grey MOP.

Green is a definite possibility!! The striations are so pretty. I’m someone who tends to over think & sometimes it means I end up playing it safe to avoid a mistake.
Can I suggest you try the carnelian? If you find a nice red shade that doesn't look brownish it can bring a lovely pop of color to your stack.
I agree try on as many as you can, you might be surprised what you prefer on your wrist vs in a picture
I was quite interested in the alternating carnelian & gold. It looks so lush & luxurious. I was concerned (1) it would be very difficult to get the right colour carnelian & (2) it would clash with my clothes. I can see it working beautifully with my neutrals, not sure on the sage or coral!!

I think the blue agate just works overall and it’s not supposed to be matchy matchy with say blue denim but more of a contrast pop iykwim. I think onyx is going to be to darks and would pick mop instead. Now we know the GMOP stone is my absolute favorite as it’s a chameleon and picks up the colors it’s surrounded by. What about an all metal option hammered?

After reading through this thread, it sounds like Onyx would be the best all-around versatile and durable option for you! If you want to make sure you are getting the use out of it without worrying about clashing colors, Onyx would be my recommendation. Otherwise, I would recommend Carnelian for a classic-leaning color pop + durability (vs. Malachite, even though the green is gorgeous). Not sure if the right shade of Carnelian might appeal to you, but I love the burgundy-ish red of my alternating Carnelian bracelet and how the stone color makes the rose gold stand out beautifully. However, I would (and did) choose to add the versatile Onyx bracelet to my stack before the Carnelian.

I will definitely have a look at the blue. Looking online I prefer the light/medium blue over the darker navy.
Here is a picture of my carnelian necklace on a sage green dress if that helps.

I agree, I think onyx is the clear choice.
I know this isn't a bracelet but I wanted to show you carnelian with different color choices.
My bracelet is just on my wrist if that helps

Absolutely beautiful! This bracelet looks very luxurious.
You said English rose and I thought onyx and YG. onyx would pop on you and uou would be fair enough that YG would as well. Great choice.
Yes I agree. I think it’s the clear choice.

Though, I must admit, I’ve recently been leaning towards the blue agate & alternating gold/carnelian despite the choices my husband picked out! I like the idea of a “pop” of colour but the clash is still worrying me. I do wish malachite wasn’t so delicate
